What is Reiki? The word "Reiki" comes from the Japanese words “rei,” meaning universal, and “ki,” meaning life energy, and has been in practice for over 2,500 years.
Reiki is a co-facilitated healing experience using light touch (optional) and intention.
Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or even emotional pain. In time, these energy blocks can cause illness. Universal energy is guided to areas in your physical and emotional body that are asking for constructive attention to help the flow of energy and to remove blocks. Improving the flow of energy around the body can enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed up the healing process, and reduce other symptoms of illness.
