Restorative Yoga

Restorative yoga is designed to activate your parasympathetic nervous system, bringing your mind and body into a state of relaxation.

During this activation, your blood pressure lowers, breathing slows and your body begins to relax and repair itself. This class will consist of 5-8 poses that will be held for 5-10 minutes each in a softly lit room. We will be using blocks, blankets, bolsters, straps and chairs to help your body access each pose in a way that works for you.

Restorative yoga has been proven to reduce anxiety, boost your immune system, improve hormonal regulations, reduce cortisol, improve sleep and increase your overall sense of wellbeing.

Please make sure to dress in comfy clothes and consider wearing layers.
